Dear Customers,

during the maintenance window scheduled for the 6th of February, we experienced an unexpected downtime during the implementation of the upgrade of the eu-latest.cumulocity.com Cumulocity IoT Platform.
The downtime was found and fixed by our engineers right away. It started at 15:34 CET and ended at 17:08 CET, but happened to be not shown on the status page aside from the maintenance message.

For this inconvenience, we would like to apologize and will take care of this not happening again.

As part of our continuous effort to improve our service, we shall be upgrading the Cumulocity IoT platform eu-latest.cumulocity.com environment on the 6th of February at 09:00 CET until the 7th of February 2024 at 17:00 CET.

The Cumulocity Core module will undergo a rolling upgrade procedure which will render the module generally responsive during the upgrade. This will be a background activity that will have little or no impact on your use of eu-latest.cumulocity.com; there is no anticipation of Platform unavailability or interruption.

Microservices will have to be restarted and unavailable during the restart procedure.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused and assure you we shall keep any such interruptions to a minimum.

Please make sure that all your relevant users of the Cumulocity IoT Platform are subscribed to our update services and are aware of the upgrade.

We will provide you with an additional reminder one hour before the upgrade. We will inform you as we progress through the upgrade and in case there are any deviations from the communicated plan.
