See below for an important notice to all users of tenants on us.cumulocity.com.
As part of our continuous effort to improve our service, we'll setup the Cumulocity IoT Messaging Service on the us.cumulocity.com environment on 11th of August 2022, between 11:00 CEST and 18:00 CEST.
This will be a background activity that will have no or little impact on your use of us.cumulocity.com.
The Cumulocity IoT Messaging Service enables reliable, scalable and high-performance movement of IoT data both within the Cumulocity IoT Platform and to/from devices, microservices and other platform clients.
Once the Cumulocity Messaging Service is enabled, tenants on us.cumulocity.com will be able to use these new features: 1. The Microservice-based Data Broker. This will be available to any tenant that already uses the data broker but must be enabled for individual tenants by Cumulocity IoT product support. 2. The Notifications 2.0 API. This API will be available to all tenants, although please note that any user wishing to use the API must have a specific role assigned by their tenant administrator.
We will provide you with an additional reminder one hour before the maintenance. We will inform you as we progress through the maintenance and in case there are any deviations from the communicated plan.
